Bryce 5.5, free modeling software
The Sizlopedia weblog does an excellent job introducing Bryce 5.5. Bryce is free 3D modeling software similar to Google Sketchup. The for-pay verison of Bryce is at version 6.1, however, the makers of Bryce are offering the more than adequate 5.5 verison of Bryce for free.
