Buzzword, Out of Adobe Labs
Last year, Adobe acquired Buzzword from Virtual Ubiquity and became part of Adobe Labs, aiming to compete Google Docs and other online web office suites. Now, Buzzword is out of Adobe Labs and joined the new Acrobat.com BETA (ACOM).
So, what can we do with Adobe Buzzword? Like other online office suites, you can create your documents, save and access it anywhere, collaborate with other authors, and control or track changes with your documents.
One notable feature that Buzzword has is the “Role” functionality. This allows you to set roles or permissions to your shared documents. You can either select roles as co-author, reviewer or reader. If you are tagged as a “reviewer”, you can add comments to any documents. It’s cool, try it!
