Watch this brief orientation video of Google Docs update, Google Docs Offline functionalities via Google Gears technology. Currently, offline functionalities works with view, edit, and search documents. This feature is not yet available for spreadsheets and presentations.

Just recently, Google Docs adds more visual functionalities to its spreadsheet tools. They adopted the concept of Gadgets-in-Docs from iGoogle.
