This was news to me, but it does explain some of the weirdness in the HTML display in some of the Outlook e-mail messages I receive.
At the risk of turning this newsletter into a biweekly Microsoft bash, Redmond has done it again. While the IE team was soothing the tortured souls of web developers everywhere […]

Okay, here’s a quick question to everyone out there. How many of you use the grammar checker provided by Microsoft in Word? Here’s a screen shot of a recent correction suggestion for an e-mail I was working on in Outlook 2007.
I think my high school English teacher (Hi! Mrs. Craig) might be proud of me […]

As I was writing my last post about my experiences with Google Spreadsheets, I began thinking of some options for other solutions. If Microsoft wanted to shore-up some market share and make sure that webtop apps didn’t cut too much into their core business of packaged software delivery, they could offer a free, but stripped-down […]

Pardon this post, I know it’s not directly related to Office 2007, but I’m in need of some assistance.
I’m working with a client who’s trying to import records from ACT into BCM. Everything’s gone fine so far but trying to get the “Notes” field of the ACT! contacts into the appropriate corresponding field in BCM. […]

Yesterday evening I installed the full Office 2007 beta on my work laptop. This is a big step, but I figure it’s a good one to really pound out and test Office 2007 in the real world for me. I also figured it would help me get some more information and posts to get included […]

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve had an error pop up on Outlook that says it couldn’t load my .pst file and most be completely shut-down and restarted. I shut down all the Outlook processes in task manager and restart Outlook.
It all seems to start back up okay, but it loses all my favorite […]

TechCrunch highlights that Google has launched a collection of their apps to be used as a virtual office space for domains.
Gmail
Google Talk
Google Calendar
Google Page Creator
Writely (Coming Soon?)
Google Spreadsheet (Coming Soon?)
Interesting concept and a very logical one at that. I only use two of the above apps (Gmail & Google Talk) on any type of regular […]

We’ve got a problem folks. My wife is not enjoying her experience with using some of the Office 2007 apps. She was having problems figuring out how to fix some layout issues with tables and getting photos and text to align like she wanted to in her document.
She was very frustrated and asked to remove […]
