If you’re running Office 2007, don’t forget to install the Save As PDF or XPS add-on. The fact that Microsoft couldn’t include this in the full software off the disc is annoying. Not sure what the separate download actually accomplishes.

In my previous post about blogging from within Word 2007, I completely relied upon Word for the entire editing of the post.
Within that post though, I expressed a little bit of concern over the code that would be used by Word when posting into the Word press site.
After posting and reviewing the post, I can say […]

After reading a recent post from Robert Scoble sharing his opinion of how Jon Udell talking about blogging within Word 2007 wasn’t very useful, I remembered that I hadn’t tried the blogging function from within Word since installing the final release of the Office software.
If you ever downloaded and installed Windows Live Writer, you’ll notice […]

Google has recently released a premium version of their Google Apps functionality. The new version provides additional storage capabilities as the main difference between the free version, along with their not being ads on the paid for service. The cost of the service is $50/yr per employee using the application.

You know what I think would be great? Being able to access my complete Outlook Inbox mail, settings, preferences and folders from any internet connection where I’ve got access to Outlook. That’s not just it though, I want Outlook to run as normal when I’m sitting in front of my own computer working as well.
I’d […]

Scoble has a post about a new Office 2.0 conference coming up that Microsoft is actually a sponsor of the organization in charge of the conference.
The post doesn’t share much information other than 26 other companies are participating and that all of them are obviously out to take a bite out of Microsoft’s marketshare in the office app domain.
These […]

No fun this morning for me. In the first day in almost a full week I’ve actually been able to get out of bed, I turn on my computers and my beta software for Office 2007 Professional has expired. No warning either, just BAM! limited functionality. So, I’m uninstalling the beta and looking at options […]

You may remember an article I wrote awhile back that talked about the changes to HTML support in Outlook 2007. They stopped using the IE7 rendering engine in favor of using the Word HTML engine. Doesn’t make much sense does it?
Molly E. Holzschlag took it upon herself to investigate the issue further and get a […]

That’s the question being asked by Mark Evans in a recent post about Firefox gaining more of the browser market share wars. From what you’ve seen of Office 2007, is it worth upgrading to you? It sure is for me, I like the new interface more and more every minute I use it. It just […]

I’ve been using Office 2007 now for quite awhile. I’ve got to say I’m very pleased with every application I work with. There are some random things that have irritated me about some things, but nothing much different from things that bother me with final and existing versions of software that I use.
In my professional […]
