Converting files to PDF, the easy way

by Jerome Locson on August 28th, 2007

pdf.pngMany of you, I suppose, sometimes plan to do documents in PDF formats but your office suite does not have the ability to save it directly to PDF whether it be of word document, presentation slides, spreadsheet, pictures, or any data.

PDF or also known as Portable Document Format, a file format created by Adobe Systems and by nature it is readable using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. And personally, I do use them daily, like reader e-books and distributing documents and reports. Since Adobe Acrobat Reader does not allow us to create PDF, I searched through the web for some document converters and a list of them is found at the Microsoft Office website for PDF converters.

Not in the list mentioned, I would like to share you what I use to do the convertion. It’s Pdf995 and below is a description of the product:

Pdf995 makes it easy and affordable to create professional-quality documents in the popular PDF file format. Its easy-to-use interface helps you to create PDF files by simply selecting the “print” command from any application, creating documents which can be viewed on any computer with a PDF viewer. Pdf995 supports network file saving, shared printing, Citrix/Terminal Server, custom page sizes and large format printing. Pdf995 is a printer driver that works with any Postscript to PDF converter. The pdf995 printer driver and a free Converter are available for easy download.

So, now you need not to worry about those file convertion to PDF and give Pdf995 a try. Download it now. If not satisfied, you can try other PDF converters listed at Microsoft Office Site.
