Losing My “Favorite” Folders

by Jason on September 12th, 2006

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve had an error pop up on Outlook that says it couldn’t load my .pst file and most be completely shut-down and restarted. I shut down all the Outlook processes in task manager and restart Outlook.

It all seems to start back up okay, but it loses all my favorite folders settings.

Has anyone else had this occur? What have you done to fix it?

Have related problem: installed Outlook 07 beta2, it has major problems. My problem is that I do not know how to go back to Outlook 03.
    Any ideas?

Joe, I haven’t necessarily found a fix, but it also hasn’t happened to me recently. Not sure if something got updated or fixed or not.

I have lost two of my favorite folders lately from my favorites tab when I’m on my internet connection. Anyone know what’s going on?

This happened to a client, I had him reboot, then go to Outlook / View / navigation / and check to see if Favorite Folders was back on the list, and it was. If its not, try to reinstall Outlook 2007 Beta
