OpenDocument To DAISY Format

If you are using OpenDocuments, you can turn your text into audio formats. Try using this OpenOffice.org extension to convert your text to DAISY DBT Format. Digital Talking Book (DBT) is a multimedia representation of a print publication. In both instances the rendering of the audio is in human voice.

This extension allow users to export in DAISY DTB format (including MathML).

DAISY DTB is an ANSI/NISO Z39.86-2005 Standard for:

  • blind people
  • visually-impaired
  • print-disabled users.
