The Moviestar of Adobe
With the ever increasing popularity of online video streaming, Adobe - the software giant, is launching its new upgrade version of Flash Player 9 dubbed as Moviestar. This aims to deliver high-definition video technology due the demand.
“Moviestar” will support the H.264 codec video compression standard which is famously used on different platforms including HD-DVD players, Blu-ray systems, etc. With this, Adobe aims to deliver better quality experience for online video lovers.
“H.264 is a very widely supported standard, and it’s one of the key standards for HD. This means Flash Player will be able to play all the content people are currently creating in H.264, no transcode required”, Market analyst Melissa Webster said.
