User Problem: Excel 2007 Sorting
An Outlook 2007 beta tester is experiencing a problem or glitch with using Excel 2007.
Hi Jason,
We have a large Excel spreadsheet that we use 20K rows and 15 columns. When I try to do a custom sort it will not display the custom sort box. If I select a smaller portion of the spreadsheet the custom sort works perfectly. I have tried selecting the entire sheet as well as selecting all of the cells on the sheet by dragging the cursor to select them all. Neither one works.
Can anyone help him out with this problem? Just let him know in the comments.

Are you inserting data from a text file? Or is your selection named? I found that if a selection is named, Excel will not sort it. Once I removed names, it sorts just fine.

Matt,
It is imported from a csv file that is created from an export routine from another program. This is something strange with Excel 2007, it works perfectly in all previous versions. Thanks.

Hi,
I am having a problem with Excel 2007 sorting. It literally does not sort correctly. I am doing a simple sort by value of numbers and it will sort in this order:

0.0
0.0
13.0

Does anyone know why it would do that?
