What’s new with Google Deskstop?
Google Desktop 5.5 beta is now available for downloads at http://desktop.google.com. And if you do not know yet about Google Desktop, try and you will get that searching power for all your files in you PC. For those who does not have any idea about it yet, here is a quick preview…
Google Desktop makes searching your computer as easy as searching the web with Google. It’s a desktop search application that provides full text search over your email, files, music, photos, chats, Gmail, web pages that you’ve viewed, and more. So for those who already uses this tool, what’s new with it? Here is a brief post taken from their official blog - Inside Google Desktop. According to run Desktop gadgets on your iGoogle homepage. Also said, “With Desktop 5.5, you can also have multiple instances of a gadget on your desktop. Simply open up the “Add gadgets” menu and choose to add an existing gadget again. Also, make sure to press the Ctrl button twice to check out the svelte new look of the Quick Search Box.“
